Description: Elizabeth Louise Vigee-Le Brun, her favorite portrait artist, painted this popular portrait of Marie Antoinette in 1783.  This is one of many portraits Elizabeth was commissioned to paint of the Queen and here she posed Marie with her favorite flower, the rose.  Marie was 28 years old when this portrait was painted. 

This portrait of Marie Antoinette has been layered over handwriting from a copy of the official French Revolutionary inventory of her jewelry, dated 21 August 1795.  This is jewelry about her jewelry!  The collage artwork is placed between glass and receives a silver soldered bezel with a pretty soldered ribbon technique.  The image has received glittered touches and there are Swarovski Crystals and Pearls added to the pendant for extra sparkle.
