Marie Antoinette Tiny Ballet Dancer Portrait Necklace
Description: This sweet image of Marie Antoinette is from a painting done in 1765 by G. Weikert at the Schonbrunn. Marie performed her ballet in complete court dress and was only 10 years old when the painting was done.
This portrait of Marie Antoinette has been layered over handwriting from a copy of the official French Revolutionary inventory of her jewelry, dated 21 August 1795. This is jewelry about her jewelry! The collage artwork is placed between glass and receives a silver soldered bezel with a pretty soldered ribbon technique. The image has received glittered touches and there are Swarovski Crystals and Pearls added to the pendant for extra sparkle.
