Description: A popular portrait of Marie painted by Martin Van Meytens between 1767-1768.  Van Meytens painted this portrait to emphasize her beautiful complexion, graceful hands and tiny figure.  Marie is only 12 years old in this charming portrait.      

This portrait of Marie Antoinette has been layered over handwriting from a copy of the official French Revolutionary inventory of her jewelry, dated 21 August 1795.  This is jewelry about her jewelry!  The collage artwork is placed between glass and receives a silver soldered bezel with a pretty soldered ribbon technique.  The image has received glittered touches and there are Swarovski Crystals and Pearls added to the pendant for extra sparkle.
